Summit Songs at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library

This weekend I attended Summit Songs, a new collaboration between PoemCity and the Summit School of Traditional Music and Culture . The performance featured the original work of local poets set to music by Summit School teachers and musicians. An exercise in creativity and musicality for all, the finished pieces were a joy to hear.

The Times Argus ran an article that really captures the spirit of the whole event. The whole thing was recorded and a copy will soon be available in the library’s collection.
