Card Catalog Poetry

We had such a good time today writing poems that we’re going to do it again next week: Friday, May 2 at noontime at the Library. Some of us used words from various cards and created a poem, others used the sentiment on a card to write our poetry.

Here is one poem using words from various cards that produced a few chuckles:

The moon and the night sounds

describe the day to day life.

A boy and girl turn into the owl and pussycat.

Teddy bear farmer works hard milking cows.

Would you rather be a bull frog?

Join us next week to see where the words on the cards take your imagination!
