Elizabeth Robechek is creating an eight book series called The Wisdom of Plants and Seeds. Her sculptural books feature art and poetry that illuminates human existence via the wisdom of plants and seeds. The first two books in the series are completed, and are on display in the Fiction Room at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. On Saturday, April 18 at 1pm Elizabeth will talk about the inspiration and process behind her work. From 2pm to 3:30pm Elizabeth will lead a book-making “playshop” where participants can play with materials to create a personal, one page book. Materials will be provided. This playshop is for adults and children ages 8 and older with adult supervision. This program is free and pre-registration is required so that we have enough material. Stop by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library or call the library at 223-3338.
