Despite the wild, wet, and windy weather, we had a great reading with Goddard faculty and poet, Janet Sylvester, and Norwich professor and poet, F. Brett Cox. We thank everyone who came out for such a nice evening. For the dog poem Brett presented, Janet had a cat one to answer. We traveled to the South with them, to London, San Francisco, and New York, and all the way back to New Hampshire and Vermont. Brett finished with a rousing poem to the beat of his car keys and Janet left us with a full moon in New Delhi and New Hampshire. It was memorable and moving, as poetry so often is. Just a week in, and we are having a wonderful time with PoemCity. We hear over and over how grateful people are that the Kellogg-Hubbard Library presents this month-long program!
